  • Analysis and disposition of quality non-conformances (QNs) for new parts.
  • Support supply chain activities by responding to Electronic Supplier Requests for Information (eSRI).
  • Develop Class II or Class I engineering change packages to improve quality, cost and producibility metrics.
  • Perform Computer Aid Design (CAD) geometry software functions to manipulate and create 2D geometries, 3D models and 3D assemblies to meet fit, form and functions requirements of parts and support engineering documentation.
  • Interpret and define tolerances and features in part drawings.
  • Develop and incorporate new ways to advance technology and improve processes as an individual and as a team contributor.
  • Embrace a continuous improvement philosophy.
  • Prepare and present status and technical content to Program Chief Engineers, APU management, Customers and Suppliers.
  • Producibility improvement investigations.
  • Develop and sustain a healthy work relationship based on mutual trust with peers, internal and external customers where significant interaction is expected.
  • Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Previous Gas Turbine Compressor knowledge is desired.
  • Experience with software and programming languages, proficient with MS Office, MS Excel.
  • CAD software experience is desired.
  • The ability to craft clear communication and build positive relationships.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
  • Team oriented and cultural awareness.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude to understand the interactions of complex assemblies and how to translate those interactions into sound analytical assumptions.
  • May have practical knowledge of project management.
