About the role The duties of an intern comprise of, but not limited to, are; · Work in a team setting as an ICE helper. · Follow all safety procedures and guidelines. · Perform routine repairs and emergency repairs of the plant equipment with voltages ranging from 12Vdc to 115KVac. · Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of circuit breakers, motor control centers, VFD’s, motors, generator, transformers, electrical metering and protective relays, turbine generator instruments, control circuits, combustion controls, drum level controls, recording devices, alarm circuits and settings, calibration of the CEMS system. · Interpret wiring diagrams to trace and connect numerous wires carrying current for independent functions using voltmeters, ammeters and related electrical testing equipment. · Create labels, scan documents/prints and computer work as needed. Must be 18 years of age and be in the process of successfully completing their major in high school. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $39,200.00 - $52,100.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
