About The Position

Are you interested in a COOP opportunity with Philips? We seek individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (MS) degree to participate in 6 month paid COOP opportunities at our site in Orlando. Through this role, you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Design
• Previous internship experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency with engineering software tools (Matlab, LabView preferred)
• Experience writing C and Python scripts
• Completed basic circuit design, signal processing, and communication courses
• Familiarity with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and network analyzers

Responsibilities

• Support development of FPGA designs for linear and non-linear filtering
• Write VHDL code to implement filtering algorithms
• Write VHDL directed and self-checking testbenches and run simulations to verify designs
• Use and write Python scripts for data processing and modeling of filtering algorithms
• Implement code on FPGA HW in the lab, gather and process data using logic analyzers to validate modeling and implementation.
