About The Position
The Product Development Electronic Engineer is responsible for the creative design and development of electronic circuit design, both analog and digital, for products related to residential and commercial circuit protection devices. In addition, the person in this role will support firmware and software for embedded systems/micro-controllers. This position will contribute to the overall hardware design of the product with involvement from project initiation thru manufacturing launch, plus ongoing developments. Functional responsibility includes design, testing and certification of the components plus systems as well as product qualification for performance, reliability, DFMA, and cost optimization of the final product. This position will work closely with the Engineering Manager, Program Manager, other Electronic/ Electrical and Mechanical Engineers; also with Operations team members, Sourcing and Manufacturing personnel to develop the products in an organized and expedient fashion per our Pro-Launch process.
