The R&D Electrical Engineering team develops hardware designs for New Product Development (NPD) as well as product sustainability solutions for on-market products in the Breast & Skeletal Health Division. Throughout the 6 months, you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following: Find and evaluate substitutes to obsolete PCB components Support PCB redesign efforts which include PCB schematic update, circuit simulations using SPICE models, design calculations, board bring-up, etc Perform testing at the board and system levels, and create test documentation Troubleshoot electronic circuits Rework PCBs by soldering/de-soldering components Support EMC, ESD and Electrical Safety compliance testing We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key qualifications include the following:

Requirements

  • Able to work full-time (40 hours per week) from January - December 2026
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the internship
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior
  • Majoring in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience or exposure to working with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work onsite at our Newark campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of electronic circuits and troubleshooting techniques
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes

Responsibilities
