Team Overview : The IWMS Digital Platform Strategy & Standards Center of Excellence works to identify and communicate standards that enable teams to deliver consistent and accessible experiences. We also create communities where our clients learn, advocate and influence our platform strategy. Our CoE is comprised on four pillars: Accessibility, Client Engagement, Design Standards, & Design System. Responsibilities : The co-op will be responsible for impactful projects that support each of our pillars, leaning in to help on initiatives based on overall CoE priorities. This person will help to craft communication to senior leadership with updates on project statuses. They will also help us continue to establish our brand as a CoE, assisting with the visuals and how we tell our story. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic program management co-op to join our team in Boston. They will have a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams working across the organization. This person will support our Center of Excellence’s 4 pillars (focus areas): Accessibility: creating an inclusive environment that empowers individuals with disabilities by ensuring our products, services, and policies enable full participation in the digital world. We are committed to exceeding industry standards, raising awareness, and empowering all users to achieve their full potential. Client Engagement: creating collaborative forums where clients can influence the IWMS technology strategy by advocating for their firms while sharing insights into business and technology challenges. Design Standards: provides a framework that supports and empowers designers to confidently create consistent, excellent products and experiences for users. Design System: provides comprehensive documentation, guidance, consultation, and components to efficiently and consistently deliver scalable and accessible user interfaces. How we will provide support learning: Establish weekly check-ins to review the week’s priorities, check-in on progress, and create opportunities to provide direction. Identify Fidelity associates with whom the co-op can connect with to learn more about our organization/priorities/deliverables/career paths. Create capacity for individual learning and exploration outside of CoE. Include the co-op in team meetings for visibility & exposure to larger team initiatives. Provide a range of types of work to allow the co-op to gain experience on a variety of projects. The base salary range for this position is $20 - $32 per hour. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
