Volkswagen Group of America’s 6-Month Co-op Program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to gain immersive, hands-on experience in the automotive industry over an extended period. Role SummaryThe Data Analytics Co-op will support the Industrial Engineering team focused on Connected Vehicle business operations. This team manages customer issue workflows, data and analytics, and digital commerce activities. The Co-op will be responsible for developing automated processes to reconcile invoice data with Volkswagen system data, helping improve data accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across financial and operational systems.

Requirements

• A rising college Junior, Senior or recent graduate
• Strong GPA
• Strong preference for Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance or related degrees.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365
• Experience or coursework in Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
• Ability to interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Experience with data automation and reconciliation workflows within business intelligence environments.

Responsibilities

• Document and assess existing data handling and reconciliation practices
• Develop recommendations to optimize data processes and reporting accuracy.
• Design and implement automation workflows for data handling and reconciliation.
• Create data visualization dashboards using Power BI and Tableau to track key metrics.
• Document new processes and provide training to Volkswagen personnel.
