About The Position

The Analytical Development group plays a key role in advancing Biogen’s innovative neurological therapies by providing the scientific information needed to insure they are safe and efficacious. Analytical Development uses its technology to support each of Biogen’s four therapeutic modalities: large molecule proteins, anti-sense oligonucleotides, small molecule pharmaceuticals, and gene therapy. The Strategic Analytics group, part of Analytical Development, serves to deliver efficiency to analytical development and their customers through the application of automated laboratory solutions in robotics, data analysis and data analytics. Our team is comprised of a diverse range of skill sets including scientists, robotic engineers, computer programmers, and statisticians, and we use these skills to create the modern laboratory and advance the future of information-based discovery. We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative co-op student to join the Strategic Analytics group. The candidate will work with the team to advance the realization of the modern laboratory by developing and implementing automated workflows. This exciting position will offer the opportunity to 1) interact with world class scientists to transform analytical characterization processes to deliver high throughput scientific results generation 2) apply data analytics to visualize key business outputs 3) participate in the construction of knowledge management solutions for the Analytical Development department using state of the art approaches.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program, returning to the academic program

Responsibilities
