About The Position

Co-Director of DV Program oversees all program elements of the Explore and Evolve programs. Directly manages the DV Programs in New Haven, while providing oversight of all other locations in the state. Interfaces with Court, Family Relations and Probation personnel. Handles administrative management responsibilities and scheduling.

Requirements

  • Excellent management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate court mandated clients.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Must be able to interpret and compile report data and work with simple budgets.
  • Must be competent in tracking multiple programs simultaneously and adjust program to meet contract requirements.
  • Must be competent in Word, Outlook, Excel, and databases
  • Master’s degree and/or Bachelor’s degree with extensive program expertise.
  • Experience with DV population, understanding of justice system, and group facilitation required.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
  • Math Ability: Medium.

Responsibilities

  • Hiring of staff and staff orientation
  • Supervision of full-time staff, and several per-diem facilitators
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
  • Oversight of Curriculum implementation and compliance
  • Conducts Report Writing Improvement Seminars
  • Ensures quality assurance for all contracts
  • Serve as backup facilitator for groups as needed
  • Serves as court, Family Relations and Probation (referral source) representative – weekly attendance at docket team meetings and court as required.
  • Well versed with applicable contracts
  • Compliance with all program regulations, contractual terms and conditions and guidelines (state, contract specific)
  • Attend all quarterly DV/CSSD meetings and communicate to CSSD Program Manager for any contract changes 18 RFP # 441 0
  • Monitors the contracts to ensure all performance and financial goals are met
