About The Position

We are looking for current MIIS students located in the United States to work on-campus or remotely on various projects related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD). The Graduate Research Assistants (GRAs) will engage in tasks such as managing databases, publishing content on websites, creating fact sheets, and drafting analytical issue briefs. They will also be involved in geolocating WMD facilities worldwide, developing country and entity profiles, collating images of missiles and other WMD-relevant objects while tracking sources and copyright restrictions, and developing case studies of illicit trade and procurement based on court cases. Additionally, GRAs will maintain and provide content for a WordPress site related to trading compliance, including export controls and sanctions.
