MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented CNO System Administrator to join our team in the Hanover, Maryland.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of system administration experience or 10+ years of experience without a degree.
• Experience with VMWare ESXi and/or VMWare NSX.
• Security+ certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Subversion/GIT.
• Knowledge of Atlassian Tools, such as Confluence, Jira, Bamboo, Crucible or similar.
• Ability to use MS Office.
• Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure.
• Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills.
• Strong Analytical, Critical Thinking Skills, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes plans for new technologies to enhance security capabilities including, perimeter security protections, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, monitoring tools, and data analytics and analysis.
• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
• Provide day to day systems support including maintenance, monitoring, and problem resolution.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
