This hands-on role offers the opportunity to operate and maintain CNC turret punch equipment to support production goals while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in a clean, well-organized manufacturing environment. Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC machines or in manufacturing/plant operations
- Familiarity with shop tools, measuring devices, and production equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle physical demands of a manufacturing environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production setting
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Operating CNC Vipros (turret punch) equipment to produce metal components
- Loading and unloading materials and finished parts
- Monitoring machine performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Performing routine preventive maintenance and basic machine adjustments
- Inspecting parts to ensure quality and specification compliance
- Logging production data, machine readings, and work performed
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and workflow
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
