About The Position

Lead a Precision CNC Value Stream Picture your day starting with a walk through a temperature-controlled machining floor where you guide multi-shift teams, review last night’s metrics, and remove roadblocks before the first spindle turns. As the CNC Value Stream Operations Manager, you orchestrate schedules, people, and processes so products move through the cell at planned lead-times—safely, compliantly, and with uncompromising quality. How You’ll Make an Impact Own production schedules across all shifts; post daily assignments and adjust in real time to hit delivery targets. Supervise and develop hourly operators and team leads; maintain time, attendance, and disciplinary documentation promptly. Champion compliance to Avalign policies and FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR), as well as GMP, EHS, and our Quality Systems. Run the daily production review walk; drive corrective actions and escalate issues quickly when needed. Execute spot quality checks, 5S assessments, and Layered Process Audits to reinforce standard work and stability. Lead continuous improvement projects to remove constraints, boost throughput, and elevate morale. Ensure constraints are staffed appropriately and product flows through the manufacturing cell at the defined takt/lead-time. Set staffing plans, cross-training roadmaps, and overtime requirements for the department. Serve as the department’s point person for Facilities, Maintenance, HR, Quality, and Engineering. Provide manufacturing input during engineering changes to ensure smooth implementation.
