We host a 100,000 sq ft, climate-controlled facility with 3, 4, and 5-Axis CNC Mills, EDM Wires, manual grinders, CNC precision grinders, CNC Lathes, and more. Previous experience is necessary. You will also have the opportunity to learn other machines. As a Machinist at Moeller Precision Tool, you will work in a highly technical environment focused on precision and efficiency. Candidates with Swiss lathe, CNC Mill, or Wire EDM setup experience will be given strong hiring preference. This is a night shift position.

Requirements

Basic math skills (i.e. – Algebra or higher)
High school Diploma or GED
Ability to work 8–10 hour shifts and perform physical tasks required of machining.
Experience in CNC or manual machine set-up and operation
Blueprint reading skills
Strong mechanical knowledge

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with tool steel preferred
Familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc preferred
Candidates with Swiss lathe, CNC Mill, or Wire EDM setup experience will be given strong hiring preference.

Responsibilities

Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
Setting tolerance levels and speeds
Translating the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
Perform inspection on manufactured parts
