Swiss/Lathe CNC Machinist Position Summary The Swiss/Lathe CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry. 1st Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm Sign-On Bonus Available: $1,000-$5,000 dependent on level of experience!

Requirements

• Operator experience with Swiss or Lathe CNC machines
• Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using a microscope
• Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer

Nice To Haves

• Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
• Previous experience with tight tolerances
• Programming experience with Swiss CNC Machines
• Experience with set-up on Swiss CNC Machines
• Experience in troubleshooting of Swiss CNC Machines

Responsibilities

• Able to operate CNC Swiss/Lathe machines
• Manufacture parts to print
• Ability to use inspection equipment to inspect parts
• Proficient at blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing
• Maintain a high level of quality
• Collect SPC data to maintain process control
