About The Position

This long-established precision manufacturing company in Rancho Cucamonga , is seeking a skilled Precision Grinder to join their growing team. For over 40 years, this company has specialized in creating custom precision molds for the medical and technical industries. Their 30,000 sq. ft. facility houses 90 employees and some of the most advanced machining and grinding equipment in the industry. They’re known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and a collaborative work environment. In this role, you’ll take projects from start to finish—programming and operating grinding machines using MasterCAM and ensuring exceptional precision every step of the way. The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and a passion for problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical/trade school preferred
  • 3+ years experience with precision surface grinding
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Proficient with precision measuring tools

Nice To Haves

  • CNC programming experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC surface grinders (Okamoto)
  • Read and interpret blueprints,sketches, and work instructions
  • Select wheels, fixtures, tooling, etc
  • Inspect parts using various hand tools (tolerances are as low as 2 tenths)
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve production or quality issues
  • Maintain equipment, machines, and facilities
