ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented --- CNC Supervisor who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. The purpose of this role is to program, setup, and operate CNC lathes, mills. As well as planning & overseeing the CNC machine production area to ensure the production of quality precision parts. CNC Supervisor 3rd Shift Your main responsibilities will be: Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner Ability to setup, program, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills without assistance. Must be self sufficient. Understands and has the ability to perform tool wear offsets Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling. Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery. Understand, interpret and edit HAAS G-code programming. Use gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance and quality requirements. Properly and safely loads and unloads castings and raw materials in CNC machinery. Be responsible for the operation and upkeep of all the CNC machining equipment. Maintain safety and quality standards using acceptable housekeeping practices and 5s processes on equipment and work area. Is flexible with time and schedule to assure availability to customer or company as circumstances warrant Able to travel as required, domestically & internationally for training purposes. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous management and leadership experience
• HS diploma or GED and minimum of 1-3 years working directly in CNC machining shop.
• Previous CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment with preference given for HAAS machine experience.
• G-Code programming experience.
• Reading & interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of shop math with ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Experience working with wide range of precision measuring equipment.
• Highly organized with a high level of integrity.
• Good time management & planning skills
• Have detailed and precise record keeping skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Communicates honestly, professionally and respectfully with others and demonstrates effective listening skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory experience beneficial.
• Familiar with the parts approval process and first article inspections.

• Directly responsible for the daily use and care of the CNC machining equipment.
• Be responsible for the operation and upkeep of all the measuring equipment, including calibration.
• Assists in the organization and maintenance of the machine shop work environment.
• Utilize and abide by ISO requirements and safety procedures.
• Promotes a team environment within the department.
