About The Position

A well-established industrial manufacturer is seeking a skilled CNC Setup Operator to join its team. This is a hands-on role focused on precision machining of critical components used in chemical, wastewater, and industrial applications.

Position Overview:
• Pay: $28.73/hour (union position)
• Full-time, 8-hour shifts (typically starting at 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM)
• Fully onsite role
• Hands-on position requiring both CNC and manual machining experience

Requirements

• Strong machine setup experience (not operator-level)
• Experience with both CNC and manual machining
• Proficiency in blueprint reading
• Skilled with precision measurement tools
• High school diploma required

Nice To Haves

• Technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes and mills
• Machine high-precision pump components with tight tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints and perform precision measurements
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Maintain quality and production standards
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Support and guide junior team members as needed
