About The Position

The position involves performing CNC set-ups and machine operations, which includes loading and editing programs, reading blueprints, and inspecting finished parts. Additionally, the role requires manual machine operation set-ups and processes, as well as performing Orbit Forming and Roller setup and operations.

Requirements

  • High school or general education degree (GED) required
  • One year of basic CNC machine operation or one semester of Technical College CNC machine operation completion
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to complete standardized written documentation and correspondence
  • Ability to professionally communicate in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic electronic tasks using computer software and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Read measuring tools (dial calipers, micrometers)
  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints and work orders/instructions
  • Perform manufacturing duties to meet daily production standards of quality and quantity
  • Complete required part inspection and properly record part count and verification of quality
  • Communicate any machine issues to CNC Team Captain or Team Leader
  • Perform set up as required
