A CNC Setup Technician is responsible for CNC machine troubleshooting, updating tool paths and completing set ups for machines on 3rd Shift. The role involves recognizing tool paths by interpreting the program (G and M codes), performing machine set-ups and changeovers, and training associates on machining standards. The technician will troubleshoot daily production problems through root cause analysis techniques as they occur, participate in continuous improvement processes, and maintain safety and good housekeeping standards.
