  • Travel up to 100% to customer locations for service and training.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Machine Application Engineering to build, install, repair, service, and troubleshoot machines.
  • Train customers onsite or remotely.
  • Replace, realign, repair, and remove machine parts as needed.
  • Provide phone support by diagnosing machine/software problems remotely.
  • Record notes and update the knowledge database after resolving issues.
  • Pursue up-sell opportunities while ensuring superior customer service.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as reporting expenses and maintaining service checklists.
  • Good working knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, or replace circuits and components.
  • High level of mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • High level of electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of CNC Router functionality and controls (FANUC, B&R, OSAI, etc.).
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software (Alphacam, Mastercam, etc.).
  • Reliable transportation for travel to customer locations.
  • Own a full set of electrical and mechanical tools for troubleshooting.
  • Two-year degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a closely related field.
  • Electrical or Mechanical certifications.
  • Current valid passport.
