About The Position

This position is responsible for operating the CNC Router to produce high end furniture parts. Essential Duties Responsible for operating the CNC Router using programmed instructions Sets up router to ensure parts are produced correctly, according to specifications Makes minor adjustments to the machine Installs correct tooling for each job Counts and final inspects part for quality Performs maintenance on router per PM list Must follow all safety policies and procedures Works as part of a team to meet or exceed production goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous machine operating experience required
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• Must have good math skills, specifically the decimal system
• Prolonged periods of standing; sitting, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting throughout shift
• Must be able to work in noisy environments
• Repetitive pushing/pulling with frequent grasping, fine manipulation as well as foot use to operate controls
• Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; rarely lifting/carrying objects up to 75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with woodworking machines for frame parts or veneered parts a plus
