About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Router Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC router equipment and a strong understanding of machining processes, quality standards, and shop safety. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC router machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of CNC router operating experience
  • Experience with CNC router machines; Laguna SmartShop M experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic understanding of tooling, fixturing, and materials
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CAM software and CNC programming adjustments
  • Background in manufacturing, aerospace, woodworking, plastics, or composite materials
  • Familiarity with shop inspection tools and quality control processes

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC router machines to produce parts that meet engineering drawings and specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and work instructions
  • Perform machine setups, tool changes, and basic program adjustments as needed
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues
  • Work closely with engineering, programming, and production teams to meet deadlines
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
