Hera Technologies, LLC (the "Company") is seeking two highly motivated CNC Router Machinist/Operator to join its team working in a hands-on, collaborative environment. The candidate must be familiar with a manufacturing environment, have working computer knowledge and be a self-starter who pays attention to detail and accuracy and take responsibility for his/her work. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating CNC routers, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping accurate records, maintaining equipment and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in related area.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Knowledge of a variety of cutting tools.
  • Ability to work with shop math.
  • Ability to use standard measuring tools (i.e. micrometers, calipers)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
  • Ability to learn to perform cross-functional operations.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Must be US Citizen or Authorized to work in the US.
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical examination, including and alcohol and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with machining of metallics, composites, and plastics.
  • Experience with Multicam CNC Routers.
  • Experience with EnRoute CAD/CAM Software.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate machines to produce parts by using work orders, blueprints, material lists, and specifications.
  • Interprets job instructions such as CNC programs, tool list, job routing, part drawings and in-process quality instructions.
  • Locates the appropriate tool holders, tools, and fixtures and loads them into the machine.
  • Staging and prepping of material for cutting.
  • Determines proper tooling and feed rates per material/Job.
  • Ensures that the work piece and tools are properly cooled.
  • Runs the program, takes measurements, and makes any adjustments necessary to produce quality parts.
  • Modifies programs in response to problems.
  • Cleans/deburrs parts before transfer to next department.
  • Inspects first run piece and checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications.
  • Keeping work area clean and organized.
  • Support 5-S and adhere to health, safety and environmental company guidelines.
  • Perform cross-functional operations.
