The Maintenance Technician is responsible for addressing electrical and mechanical issues that arise in operations, production, and the facility to help ensure the smooth operation of our facility and equipment. Works collaboratively and independently to design and implement maintenance processes, instruments, and equipment to maintain operational equipment. Works with a moderate degree of supervision.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in electrical systems is preferred.
  • Equipment Maintenance & CNC machine services/Troubleshooting experience required.
  • Good understanding of the technical features of CNC machines controls, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity and proven use of a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, wiring, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, utilizing specialized tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty electrical components, including wiring, circuits, switches, and outlets.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address and resolve facility-wide issues and improvements.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Perform unscheduled maintenance and emergency repairs even after hours, as necessary, and in a timely manner.
  • Perform installation and upgrades to equipment in addition to other special projects as needed to increase machine efficiency and company productivity.
  • Work with Maintenance team to maintain inventory of maintenance materials and supplies to assure down time is minimized due to lack of parts.
  • Complete and document maintenance activities associated with predictive and corrective maintenance activities in a computerized maintenance database.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with industry advancements and technologies.
  • Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery.
  • Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
  • Champion facility goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Innovation and Cost.
