About The Position

We are a leading stone fabrication company in Oahu looking for a CNC Programmer to enhance our production capabilities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming CNC machines, particularly Park Industries equipment, and will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality fabrication of various stones such as marble, granite, and quartzite through effective CAD design and programming solutions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to CNC operations.
• Experience with CAD software for designing parts and components.
• Familiarity with tooling techniques.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programming solutions for CNC machinery.
• Utilize ALPHA CAM programming techniques to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and handwritten drawings to fabricate stone accurately.
• Collaborate with the current team to troubleshoot issues related to tooling and machining operations.
• Maintain documentation of programming changes, tooling specifications, and production processes.
• Conduct regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
