About The Position

The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in a leading manufacturing company specializing in high-quality, close tolerance parts. This position involves programming and operating CNC milling machines in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficiency and quality of manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience in a setup/programmer position with CNC 3-Axis milling centers.
• 3 years' experience in an operator position with CNC Vertical 3-Axis milling centers.
• Confident reading and working to technical blueprints and documentation.
• Knowledge with various types of inspection and measuring equipment.
• Strong experience in the use of Mastercam software.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Effectively program and operate CNC milling machines within a fast-paced environment.
• Complete various documentation including job travelers, operator check sheets, inspection reports, etc.
• Maintain quality by continued first piece and in-process inspection.
• Guide and coach other employees, when necessary, through technical issues.
• Be proactive and work with minimal supervision.
• Continue to look for ways to improve the manufacturing processes of new and existing products.
