About The Position

Write programs for CNC mill using Mastercam software. Ensure programs are usable by the setup team. Set up and run machines as needed, with a primary focus on programming. Use machinery including two Okuma horizontal mills, one Okuma vertical mill, a HAAS VF-2, and a HAAS DT-1. Confirm the first piece is in spec before releasing jobs to run. Identify necessary tooling and fixturing for jobs and work with Purchasing to procure items in time for production runs. Complete job-specific paperwork. Comply with all ISO requirements. Audit materials list for accuracy and proper material staging when running parts. Operate CNC production equipment with a focus on safe operation. Load/unload products to/from production workspaces. Inspect products between operations and complete any associated forms/checklists. Deburr and prepare products for the next operation or workstation. Maintain a clean and safe workstation.

Requirements

  • 6 or more years of CNC programming/manufacturing environment experience.
  • High level of competence in Mastercam.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred or equivalent industrial experience.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Personal pride in one's own work.
