About The Position

Munters specialize in innovative, energy-efficient climate control solutions for data centers. Munters technology portfolio includes range of cooling systems designed to maximize uptime, enhance performance, and reduce energy consumption and water usage. Munters offers direct and indirect evaporative cooling systems, dry air-to-air heat exchangers, waterless thermosyphon-based split systems, and fan coil arrays for pairing with air-cooled chillers. Munters also manufacture air cooled chillers and fan -coil arrays for specific strategic partners. Munters' solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of data center operators, ensuring optimal efficiency and performance while minimizing environmental impact. As a CNC Programmer, you will generate program code using computer-aided-manufacturing software, run simulation tests, conduct quality testing and correct/improve program code to increase efficiency, quality and safety.

Requirements

  • Experience with SolidWorks and Sheetworks. Preferably Amada and PEP software
  • Ability to read engineering prints, including the ability to understand GD&T
  • Must be able to select speeds, feeds, and tooling grades for exotic metals as well as steel and aluminum
  • Reading G-Code is required
  • Analyze engineering instructions, drawing, blueprints, specifications, and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds and feed rates
  • Ability to work independently and follow work instructions, use critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Data analytical skills and engineer related knowledge
  • 3 years or more in CNC programming

Responsibilities

  • Work from job packets, bill of materials (BOM), blueprints, drawings, and/or production schedule.
  • Generates program code using computer-aided-manufacturing software, runs simulation tests, conducts quality testing and corrects/improves program code to increase efficiency, quality and safety
  • Determine reference points, machine cutting paths and computing angular and linear dimensions, radius and curvatures
  • Compare computer printouts with original part specifications and blueprints to verify accuracy of instructions
  • Revises programs to eliminate errors and re-tests programs to ensure problem resolution
  • Observes CNC machines on trial runs or conducts computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce items that meet specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise, including performing basic maintenance
  • Performance Quality assurance testing to ensure manufacturing specifications are met
  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.
  • Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
