The CNC Programmer is responsible for creating and editing programs and setup sheets for CNC lathes and mills, as well as designing fixtures and maintaining data and records for the programming area. This role involves providing responsive support for the production of close tolerance components, resolving machining-related quality issues, and continuously optimizing programs, cutting tools, and fixturing to reduce cycle times. The programmer will also research, test, and implement new cutting tools, work holding, and programming technologies, ensuring all new CNC programs comply with product flow.
