In this role, you will support plasma cutting operations by preparing detailed drawing files and collaborating closely with the production team to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• 1 year of experience drafting or CNC programming
• 1 year of experience with AUTOCAD 2D

Nice To Haves

• Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Advanced Math Skills - Architectural, Trigonometry
• API 650/653 Experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets construction drawings and creates CNC files for plasma cutting tables to produce parts for fabrication.
• Applies industry and company standards in preparation and review of drawings, details, and diagrams
• Monitor and maintain inventory of drop materials to maximize utilization of materials and reduce scrap generated during processing
• Fill in for shop personnel within the department as needed based on work load and shop needs. This will require working in the shop environment.
