Responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce precise parts and components, ensuring efficiency & quality in the manufacturing process. Essential Functions Write and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts & components based on technical blueprints and specifications. Set up CNC machines, including selecting & loading the appropriate tools and materials for each job. Test programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality of the output. Work closely with engineers and machinists to evaluate project requirements and resolve any issues related to machine setup and program performance. Maintain accurate records & documentation for machine specifications, programming notes,and production processes. Perform quality checks on the final products to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines & troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process. Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations in the workplace. QualificationsQualifications Associate's degree in CNC programming, machine tool technology, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechatronic Engineering or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software is essential. Previous experience programming CNC machines & a solid understanding of blueprints and technical drawings are highly valued. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision are crucial for ensuring high-quality outputs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues with the manufacturing process.
