About The Position

As a CNC Programmer, you turn design drawings into real parts using CNC machines. You create and improve CNC programs so parts are cut accurately, efficiently, and consistently. Your work helps move products from idea to finished piece.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of CNC programming experience
  • Experience using Vectric or similar CAM software
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with wood, MDF, plastics, or metals
  • Trade school or hands-on shop training
  • Knowledge of G-code
  • Experience with prototypes and production runs

Responsibilities

  • Create CNC programs from drawings and CAD files
  • Set up and improve toolpaths for CNC routers
  • Write and adjust G-code for production runs
  • Choose tools, speeds, and settings for clean, efficient cuts
  • Help with prototyping, production, and custom parts
  • Troubleshoot cutting issues and improve processes
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and fabrication teams
  • Occasionally help create visuals or documentation using Adobe software
