The CNC Programmer at JENbro Manufacturing will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of CNC programs and setups for both mill and lathe machinery. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and creativity, as the programmer will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proficient in programming both 3-axis and 4th axis rotary mills, as well as multi-axis lathes and VTLs. A strong understanding of CAD/CAM software, particularly AutoDesk Fusion 360, is essential, although candidates willing to learn this software will also be considered. In this role, the CNC Programmer will collaborate closely with the manufacturing and engineering teams to interpret technical drawings and specifications, creating precise and accurate CNC programs. The programmer will also be tasked with selecting appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies to maximize production efficiency and part quality. Modifications to existing CNC programs will be necessary to improve efficiency and adapt to changes in engineering designs. Troubleshooting machining issues and providing support to machine operators will be a key responsibility, ensuring that production challenges are resolved promptly. The CNC Programmer will conduct trial runs and first-article inspections to verify that machines and programs operate as intended. Keeping abreast of the latest machining technology and programming software is vital, as is documenting programming, setup, and run procedures to streamline repeat orders.
