  • Utilize Catia V5 to develop and create CNC programs for multi-axis turning and milling to support production requirements for assigned product lines under given time frames and costs allowances.
  • Process planning, creation of operation sheets and detailed set-up sheets for production.
  • Support CNC operators during setup, prove-out and production operations.
  • Concept required fixturing and provide shop drawings for fixture fabrication. Support the toolroom staff or suppliers during fabrication processes.
  • Provide detailed lists of cutting tools to operations and tool crib staff.
  • Achieve machining goals of run and set up time to adhere to production metrics and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and functions to meet/exceed customer requirements for on time delivery, first time quality and cost effective solutions.
  • Work non-standard hours as necessary to meet customer requirements (i.e. After hours, weekends, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • 10 years of CNC Programming experience
  • Shop floor experience and intimate knowledge of milling and turning machine capability and functionality.
  • Fully versed with initiating and developing CNC programs on the machine and working with machine operators to prove-out the process.
  • Aerospace experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred but not required
  • Sense of urgency in problem resolution.
  • Team player with excellent people skills
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes as attained through CNC machine setup & operation
  • Experience with MasterCam/Unigraphics NX programming for CNC Equipment and CAD modeling and programming of tight tolerance complex surfaces.
  • Experience with Vericut simulation software preferred.
  • Experience with Post Processing software preferred.
  • Extensive experience in cutting tool technology and applications
  • Experienced with aerospace alloys, Titanium, Inconel, Aluminum and Alloy Steel machining.
  • Proven ability to develop, recommend and implement process and manufacturing improvements
  • Excellent office computer skills - Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Project and Excel
