CNC Operator/Programmer Overview: Join our team as a CNC Operator or Programmer and be part of a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a CNC Operator/Programmer, you will play a crucial role in programming and operating computer numerical control machines to produce precision parts. If you have a passion for precision engineering and possess expertise in CNC Operating/ programming, this opportunity is for you. In this role, you will develop and implement new machining processes to produce new parts or improve existing parts produced on CNC equipment. You will review part prints to identify tooling and fixture needs, developing new fixtures or altering existing fixtures as needed. Writing new CNC programs, completing initial setup, and troubleshooting the new process will be key responsibilities. You will also identify continuous improvement opportunities in the machining processes and implement those changes from idea to realization. Additionally, you will identify, justify, and implement new capital purchases, provide leadership and mentoring to machinists and supervisors, and assist in training setup operators and machine operators on multiple machine platforms. Collaboration with Design Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues and striving to improve the manufacturability of product design will be essential. You will assist in implementing and managing an effective machine data collection system, create machine shop documentation, and provide work instructions to ensure process control. General housekeeping in your immediate area of responsibility and strict adherence to company safety and health standards will also be part of your duties.
