We are proud to be doing work that really makes a difference in our world- and beyond! ACT has an immediate opening for a CNC Programmer/Operator. This candidate will be working in composite CNC machine shop, specializing in the machining of composite materials. A candidate for this position must have experience with programming, setup and operation of CNC machines and producing parts to tight tolerances.

Requirements

• Must meet the definition of a US person in accordance with ITAR requirements
• Have a high-school diploma
• Minimum of 5 years programming experience using MasterCam software
• Be able to read and interpret ANSI Y14.5 blueprints and specifications
• Have a high degree of general craftsmanship and work ethic
• Have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Working understanding in setup and operation of CNC Machines
• Ability to manage multiple duties, set priorities and follow tasks through completion
• Have the ability to foresee technical problems in the manufacturing environment
• Provide a resume with work experience
• Own setup and inspection tools desirable
• 5-Axis machining experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Review 3D CAD designs and blueprints
