The salary range in New York for this role is $$67,600-$92,950. We are looking forward to receiving your complete application. Requirements

  • You will have a minimum of an Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • You should possess 5 Years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years preferred CAD/CAM experience
  • General and practical knowledge of measuring tools, equipment, and concepts
  • Working knowledge and understanding of proper usage of machine tooling, inserts, fixtures, and holding components
  • Experience reading and creating technical drawings/blueprints
  • Ability to define problems, to collect data, to establish facts and to draw valid conclusions is necessary when performing this job. Individual should have excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills

Responsibilities

  • You will generate CNC programs from the CAD/CAM software
  • Create and update technical drawings based on customer and company requirements for new and existing products
  • Develop new programs for new parts/revise existing programs to improve efficiency and automation
  • Identify and select appropriate tooling and fixtures for job specific applications, based on part material, geometry, features, tolerances, rigidity, and equipment capability
  • You will train new machinists and partner with experienced machinists on program improvements and Machine Shop initiatives/projects
  • Perform regular productivity measurements; including physical measurement of machining cycles on the shop floor, variance analysis from standard, and proposals for adjustments to improve flow
