American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier aerospace fabrication facility in Tacoma, WA looking for a dual-threat CNC Programmer and Machinist . This is a high-level role for a professional who thrives on the complexity of aerospace components and high-tolerance manufacturing. If you're a motivated expert who takes pride in flawless toolpaths and technical excellence, we want you in the shop! What You’ll Do as a CNC Programmer/Machinist: Precision Programming: Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs utilizing Mastercam and Surfcam . Multiaxis Milling: Set up, program, and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills . Lathe Operations: Set up and operate CNC lathes (experience with live tooling is a major plus!). Technical Interpretation: Masterfully interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T standards. Strategy & Setup: Independently select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding for diverse materials.

Requirements

Coding Proficiency: Fully understand and apply M & G code programming.
Software Mastery: Proven experience with Mastercam or Surfcam programming software.
Aerospace Fluency: Expert ability to read and interpret complex aerospace blueprints and GD&T.
Independence: Ability to develop complete programs from scratch, including toolpath strategy.
