About The Position

Ready to own the setup? Based in Alameda, CA, we’re looking for someone who thrives on dialing in CNC processes for die‑cast aluminum parts. If you can read a print, edit G‑code, and get from first‑article to stable production efficiently, this is your lane. What you’ll do Set up and run CNC equipment to blueprint/spec requirements. Perform light programming and G‑code edits to optimize cycle time and finish. Check parts during and after machining to ensure quality targets are met. Team up with peers to troubleshoot tooling, workholding, and program issues. Document setups, parameters, and results for repeatability. Champion safety procedures and good shop practices. What you need Track record as a CNC setup/programmer or similar role. Working knowledge of CNC controls and G‑code editing. Comfortable reading drawings with GD&T. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with inspection and quality control methods. Clear communicator and effective team contributor.
