About The Position

Teems Fabrication Inc. is growing and needs help!! We are searching for an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator! A skilled CNC Press Break Operator is needed for the steel manufacturing team. The role includes setting up and operating CNC press brakes to bend and shape metal components according to specifications, ensuring quality and safety.

Requirements

Proficiency in operating CNC press brakes, interpreting blueprints, and strong math skills are essential. Knowledge of metals is beneficial.
Precision and a meticulous approach to quality control are required.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects safely.
Ability to identify and resolve minor issues.
Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to a safe work environment.
Effective communication and ability to collaborate with others.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous press brake operation experience in manufacturing is necessary.

Nice To Haves

Experience with CNC press brakes and programming is preferred.
Vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brakes, select tooling, and program or edit controls for accurate bending. Optimize processes for efficiency.
Read blueprints and drawings to determine measurements and bending sequences.
Inspect finished products using tools like calipers and gauges to ensure they meet specifications and are free of defects.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Identify and resolve minor issues or report them for repair.
Adhere to safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and use appropriate PPE. Follow safety regulations.
Prepare raw materials for production and examine them for defects.
Maintain production records and communicate with supervisors and colleagues.
