Summary: The Press Brake Operator will have hands-on experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC press brakes. The range of equipment used to include: 135-ton Cincinnati Maxform, 60-ton Cincinnati Profrom and a 400-ton Accurpress. Press Brake Operators are required to comply with all MPI policies and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC press brakes to form parts per prints and work orders. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and bend charts. Select proper tooling, punches, and dies for each job. Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality and accuracy. Make adjustments to programs and setups as needed. Maintain tight tolerances and consistent part quality. Perform and maintain basic cleaning of the work area every shift Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized. Work safely and follow all safety procedures.
