As a CNC Operator/Machinist at ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc., you will play a crucial role in the production of hydraulic and electrohydraulic components, controls, and brake systems for off-highway machines. This position is part of the Machine Shop Team, where you will be responsible for operating one or more machining centers, turning centers, or hand operation centers to produce parts that are integral to our saleable products. Your work will directly contribute to the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes, ensuring that we meet the high standards expected in our industry. In this role, you will interpret blueprints and job specifications to determine the necessary dimensions and tolerances for the parts you produce. You will operate equipment according to written instructions and utilize inspection equipment to ensure that the products meet quality standards. Monitoring quality in accordance with ISO work instructions will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will making necessary adjustments and tool changes to maintain part quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for packing parts properly to prevent damage during transport, performing daily equipment inspections and maintenance, and completing daily cycle counting as per established procedures.
