CNC Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Primary Responsibility: Sets up and operates CNC Lathe – machines/inspects parts per drawing Duties and Responsibilities: Sets up machine – set up tooling – install/machine soft jaws as required Downloads program via computer. Make offsets to maintain part dimension tolerance. Responsible for ensuring each part is made within designated specifications. Inspects parts using precision measuring instruments – micrometers – calipers – depth micrometers bore gages – plug gages. Operates hoist / automatic band saw - Saw parts to required specification as required. Follows all Safety instructions and practices. Follows work instructions in place. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Good mechanical skills. Basic machine shop practices Ability to use precision measuring instruments. Ability to follow instructions. Basic math skills. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Trade School or pervious machine shop experience preferred Physical requirements Able to lift 35 lbs. on occasion Stand for extended periods - 2 hour periods Some overtime required #IND #DNI Maxcess is an equal employment opportunity employer.
