About The Position

Dixon Quick Coupling, a proud division of The Dixon Group, is seeking a reliable and skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Dallas, NC! In this role, you’ll operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high‑quality metal components used in Dixon products. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of CNC setup or operating experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements
  • Strong attention to detail and solid problem‑solving skills
  • Good manual dexterity and comfort working with tools
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Operate multiple CNC machines safely and efficiently
  • Produce precision components according to engineering drawings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurement specifications
  • Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality
  • Monitor production and make basic adjustments to resolve machining issues
  • Perform routine machine maintenance
  • Rotate through various assignments as needed
  • Participate in training and learn about Dixon products and processes
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily goals
