Hinckley is actively looking for an entry level CNC Operator to work at our facility in Trenton, Maine, the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) operator's job involves setting up, and operating CNC machines to create precision parts and tools, while also ensuring quality, safety, and maintaining equipment.

Operating CNC Machines: Setting up and operating CNC machines (Komo and Thermwood) to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
Machine Setup and Maintenance: Preparing machines for operation, including loading materials, selecting tools, and making necessary adjustments.
Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality standards.
Tooling and Fixtures: Setting and loading tools and fixtures according to set-up instructions.
Record Keeping: Maintaining records of machine actions and production data.
Inventory Management: Planning stock inventory.
Safety: Adhering to safety procedures and regulations in the work environment.
Basic Maintenance: Performing basic maintenance tasks on machines, such as changing collets, tool inserts, and maintaining coolant levels.

High school or general equivalency degree (GED) required.
Ability to operate CNC mills
Great computer and technical skills
Good attention to detail
Strong team player
Must be self-motivated
