CNC Operator - C Shift
About The Position
The individual will join our Centrotherm Manufacturing Team reporting to our shift supervisor. The ideal candidate is responsible for fabricating components of our InnoFlue line of polypropylene vent system components through a variety of processes including, cutting, routing and plastic welding. This position is on our C shift, 7 pm to 7:30 am Monday – Thursday rotating with Monday - Wednesday 7 pm to 7:30 am every other week. Initial training may take place partially during the first shift (Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm). The individual will join our Centrotherm Manufacturing Team reporting to our shift supervisor. The ideal candidate is responsible for fabricating components of our InnoFlue line of polypropylene vent system components through a variety of processes including, cutting, routing and plastic welding. The position is hourly non-exempt, and overtime may be required.
Requirements
- Commitment to work place safety
- A high school degree is required.
- 2-5 years of one of the following skills is strongly preferred: Operation of 5 Axis Router or Machining Center Operation of extrusion equipment Operation of blow molding, thermal forming, injection molding or extrusion equipment Candidates with operator experience outside of plastics will be considered Training will be provided
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word is required

- Must be a good communicator and self-motivated.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written communications/directions
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.

Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate CNC Router including loading programs, mounting trim fixtures, mounting parts and running programs
- Comprehensive knowledge of materials and tolerances.
- Impart quality into every part through attention to detail and execution of in process control plan
- Ability to move work pieces onto and off of work tables
- Able to work with limited guidance when necessary
- Works well with a team and follows direction
- Proactively seeks continuous improvement and professional development
- Meaningfully contribute to team meetings, training, policies, strategy and culture
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment following the principles of 5S
- Complete daily/weekly preventative maintenance of assigned equipment
- Ensure efficient use of time and equipment, ensuring that the appropriate records are maintained and that tight inventory control and security is maintained
- Perform other duties, projects, and assignments as needed
