Performs the operation of preparing and machining samples, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Executes change over and set up of the machine.
• Performs milling machine operation.
• Prepares standard samples such as Tensile or Charpy samples.
• Interprets Standards and requirements.
• Updates information in the tracking systems.
• Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (refrigerating fluid, machine adjustments, etc.).
