About The Position

Primary duties will include: • Examine completed workpieces for defects • Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications • Set stops on machine beds and adjust components, such as rams or power presses, when making multiple or successive passes • Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data • Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten material • Report all outages to supervisor • Report scrap daily • Clean up during shift as needed to be safe at the end • Set the highest ethical standards for self and others. • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 1 year of related experience
Ability to safely and effectively use machines
Product knowledge
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Strong attention to detail
Must wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Must be willing and able to work overtime as required

Nice To Haves

High School diploma is preferred, GED required.
We will consider additional experience in lieu of diploma
CNC Operator a plus
CNC Operator- Vector a plus
