About The Position

Join our team as a CNC Operator on 2nd shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM). In this role, you’ll operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll ensure components meet specifications, maintain a safe and organized work area, and collaborate with your team to support continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Previous machining or CNC operating experience (setup experience a plus but not required).
  • Basic understanding of machining practices, tooling, and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and good math skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC lathes and vertical machining centers to produce precision components according to specifications.
  • Set up and perform tooling changes for part change overs, this will include program selection and performing any necessary adjustment to meet part specifications.
  • Inspect parts to blueprints using multiple hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments during production runs to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
  • Follow standard work instructions and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
  • Work closely with teammates and supervisors to ensure consistent quality and output.
  • Participate in training to develop additional skills.
